Conspiracies are Satan's sucker punch. A sucker punch is delivered after someone has let down their guard, sometimes coming from behind, and punching the most vulnerable part of an opponent.

Who shot Kennedy? Did NASA fake the moon landing? Are the Illuminati running the government? Did a UFO land at Area 51? Did the Mayans really predict the end of the world in 2012? Is Obama stealing our freedoms by implementing a secret plan to fundamentally change the United States? Will we all soon be shoved into camps because we disagree with the government? Is global warming true or false? Is the Skull and Crossbones Society taking over the world?

The number of conspiracy theories seems to be endless. It is probably safe to say that there are two conspiracy theories available for each person on the planet to play with. Take your pick and do your talking 13 your life will be over long before you arrive at an answer.

Let me save you some time so that you can address something that really does matter - your soul.

Isaiah 8:12 "Do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it."

It Is True

Many of the conspiracies are true, or at least based a solid piece of fact. However, there is one conspiracy that controls all the other conspiracies that everyone is overlooking. This conspiracy, the conspiracy, is so deep that it knows how to masquerade behind all the other conspiracies. In fact, it is the cause of all the conspiracies that have ever happened throughout the history of mankind. There may be a group of very secretive men getting rich off the troubles of the world, but they are not the ones pulling the strings. Here is the key to all the secret (and not so secret) conspiracies throughout time.

Revelation 12:9 The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

The devil is able to blind the whole world into believing that something else out there is causing the trouble. The devil wants people to believe that if only mankind could fix that "something else," the trouble would be solved. The devil convinces some that the solution is to bring back the US Constitution - that doing so would make the USA become as great as the founding fathers meant it to be. For others, the devil holds up a person, or an institution, to blame in order to keep people straying from God.

The devil deceives. The devil is able to hide himself so well that no one can really see what is going on. That is the meaning of the word deceived. It is only when Jesus returns that all the conspiracy theories will be burned up in hell. Jesus will throw the devil into a lake of burning sulfur.

Revelation 20:10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Now, there is something to be worried about - especially since most of mankind will be thrown in with the devil. There is nothing so deadly as an unseen enemy that hides himself behind so many masks.

Will Not

Let us understand what is not going to happen. We will not beat any worldwide or national conspiracy. We will not gain back our constitutional rights. We will not be able to fight a physical battle and win. In fact, it would be a sin to even attempt to overthrow the government - for the Bible tells us that to rebel against the government is to rebel against God.

There is no point in taking up a gun, hiding in a compound, and storing up supplies to outlast Armageddon because none of that will work. In fact, to attempt those things is to fall into the devil's trap. The devil wants everyone fighting against phantoms so that they will not pay attention to the Truth. The ship is going down but Satan does not want you to see the lifeboat. And here is part of the Truth concerning the last days that the devil is attempting to hide.

Revelation 13:9-10 He who has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.

Were you listening? There are only two options when it comes to preparing for the last days. They are: 1. Captivity or 2. Killed by the sword.

It is true that our constitutional rights are being taken and the world is headed toward a one-world government. It will happen. Just understand that there is nothing you can do about it. Indeed, there is nothing you should do about it, as it is just a matter of time before all hell breaks loose on the earth. Because, literally, the devil is behind it all and God declared long ago the earth would wear out.

Here's an extra warning: the devil is so sneaky that he will attempt to appear spiritual about this. The devil will appear like a lamb (Jesus being the real Lamb of God) but in reality he is the dragon. In other words, some people think they are preparing for the last days with what looks on the surface like Christianity, but it is not. These are the kind of "Christians" who stock up on food and obtain weapons in order to be prepared for the end of the world. But there really is no point wasting your time trying to save the planet - it ain't gonna happen.

Revelation 13:11 Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.

How To Prepare

Remember our two options; captivity or killed by the sword? Well, there is no third option. The first step in preparing for the last days is to stop looking for a third option. No government has ever been good, no scheme of man has ever brought a better world and no person will ever be able to make the world a better place. So give up looking for a third option. If you want to be saved, God has limited our options very specifically.

These are not options like selections you get to choose when buying a car. They are options only in the sense that God will decide what He has chosen for you.

The only way you can prepare for the last days is to hate your own life and seek the will of God every hour of each day.

John 12:25-26 The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

The Answer To All Conspiracies

We started with Isaiah 8:12 and we will end with Isaiah 8:13. God said, "do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it."

What - or rather who - you should fear is God, who is going to throw the author of all conspiracies, Satan, and all conspiracies with him, into hell. Those who get wrapped up in any of those conspiracies, or wrongly getting ready for the last days, will be pulled down with the devil into a molten mess. In other words, there is only one thing to fear. And that thing is not a thing at all, but the Living God.

Isaiah 8:13 The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.

The only way to be ready for the end of the world is to fear and dread the true Living God, starting today.
