Above all, my brothers, do not swear--not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. Let your "Yes" be yes, and your "No," no, or you will be condemned.

Obama takes the oath of office with his hand on the Bible. Vast commentaries could be written on the hypocrisy of this moment, but it is enough to say that he will, according to James, be "condemned" by God.
