In the old days, those with leprosy were treated with the utmost contempt. Sex offenders today are treated the same. They are driven outside of society and have injustice shoved into their lives everyday. This almost ensures that they will repeat their crimes. A society cannot place individuals in darkened cells and expect their eyesight to improve. The American court system has become a lynch mob by legislation.

because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment! (James 2:13)
