No wonder Jesus overturned the tables in the temple! Little wonder Jesus was crucified.

This "sold out" luxury feast epitomizes what we experienced last year while touring Israel. The sins of the Old Testament are still very much alive. Everything is work, traditions, work, talk, and more talk. And so the Sabbath becomes a time to crash and indulge oneself.

Passover is supposed to be about eating bitter herbs! (Exodus 12:8)

Doesn't this bring to mind the words of Jesus, or John the Baptist, or Paul, or ... God! But, since this is a Kosher group, I will quote from Habakkuk:

Therefore he sacrifices to his net and burns incense to his dragnet, for by his net he lives in luxury and enjoys the choicest food. (Habakkuk 1:16)
